FPIP's subsidiary FPIP Utilities, Inc. (FUI) was crowned champion in the First Association of FPIP Locators, Inc. (AFLI) - Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) Committee quiz contest. The contest's theme was "Tagisan ng Talino sa Kalikasan, Kaligtasan at Kalusugan" and dubbed as the 1st AFLI K3 Challenge held on December 4, 2009 at The Oasis Gym inside FPIP.

This year's much anticipated Association of FPIP Locators Inc. (AFLI) sports fest was held last August 4, 2009 despite the uncertainty brought on by the global economic crisis. In pursuit of the spirit of promoting camaraderie and wellness, a spirited campaign was held to cut costs and bring in new locator participants.

FPIP employees geared up for sharing their talents and knowledge in the Teacher for A Day program held last October 21, 2009. The program is under the Eskwela Caravan that encourages employee volunteerism. It is a follow-through program of the Brigada Eskwela that basic education need not only means providing better infrastructure.

The activity adopted the theme "Your Planet Needs You - Unite to Combat Climate Change" and kicked off the World Environment Day celebration.
